Meet Dr. Hesham Youssef

Dr. Hesham Youssef received his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alexandria, Egypt in 1989. He was ranked 6^th of 120 graduates and was chosen by the Dean to attend the University of Iowa general dentistry rotation. Dr. Youssef passed the National Board, the CRDTS, and became a practicing general dentist in Colorado in 1992, where he practiced general dentistry in Aurora until 2000.

Dr. Youssef received a Doctorate of Medical Science and Certificate of Endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He returned to Colorado in 2004 and practiced Endodontics in various offices until he opened his private practice in 2007.

Dr. Youssef has been on faculty at the University of Colorado Health Science Center since 1998 and lectures internationally on the subject of Endodontics and Implantology. He has received multiple awards for his research and contributions from the American Association of Endodontics, as well as the Educator Award.

Dr. Youssef is a devoted husband to his wife, Venus, and an awesome father to his three children, Summer, Omar and Zain. When he is not performing specialized dentistry, he is traveling with his family and can be found deep sea scuba diving or on the golf course (where he, admittedly, could use more practice). His office team and patients describe him as intelligent, funny, outgoing, and dedicated. He looks forward to caring for you and your family members!
